True or False wordpress widget / Plugin
Ok so yes I have a freebie for you.
I have worked on this plugin for a few days now, so its far from perfect, but so far I could not find any bugs.
Basically what it does is add a true or false widget to your wordpress site.
Its alot of fun and sometimes addictive so beware..
FEATURES:
* Customize the colors
* Customize the Size
* Add new questions
* List all questions
* delete questions
* Opens in New window, so people can continue
* Questions are currently selected by Random.
Installation:
Simple, login to your wordpress admin, click plugins, click add new, click upload, select the zip or rar file and click ok.. Once done, it will say its been added successfully, then click activate and bobs your uncle.. well no, not really.
The head your pretty little self over to the TORF settings page, fill out all the settings, in particular the two site path questions.
Then go to your widgets page, and add the TORF widget to your side bar or footer.
FUTURE UPDATES:
* Pre written styles, so you can select various styles instead of filling in the details.
* Add to blog post short code or quick add button
* Edit Questions (currently, only add and delete.)

Zen Cart oh Zen Cart, why are you so useful & a complete A$$ at the same time - Doing the configs
For those of you who have never used the Zen Cart software, please be warned. It is not a well layed out or well templated software.
But luckily for us, we have the awesome users of zencart community forum who are willing to answer questions, even the very stupid ones like " WTF? where do i put my zencart template???"
yes well, for anyone guessing, that was me that asked and apparently its a question that gets asked a great deal.
I do like some of the zencart functionality, particularly the ability to sell digital goods. Unfortunately, we have so many amazing web cart php software out there, but there is a minute few that have the ability to sell digital goods. And the ones that do, cost an arm and a leg and possibly a kidney.
So I just thought I would write some of my experiences here so you can all avoid my mistakes.
I may have to split this post up in a few because there is so much to cover. (check that, I will have to split this, so if you have already installed your zen cart and done your config, then skip the rest of this article)
1. Once you have installed your zencart, proceed to the admin section and for those that are not sure, unlike most software zencart decided to add their initials to the admin url. so go to www/yoursite.com/zcadmin (see the initials - thats branding dude lol )
The first thing you will see is that the layout is rather old skool.. not like the amazing wordpress admin we are all used to, but it does the job and that is what we want.
So head yourself over to the configuration tab (should be the first tab from your left) and you will see it drops down to a hundred and one other settings links.
I did tell you that nothing in zen cart is very easy.. Just giving you the heads up.
First things first, head over to the My store link in the configuration tab drop down and click on it.
You will see a bunch of options and more, if unsure, leave it alone, if sure edit and change and save.
To edit any of these values, you will need to highlight the one you want to change and then click the edit button on your right. YEAH!!! your telling yourself, why cant i do all the changes in one page on one form, right?? Yeah, not in Zen cart my dear friend. One by One is how we roll..
Once you have done that then you will finally have a store name and the config done.
The Next two on the configuration tabs drop down, is minimum value and Maximum value. Basically all this is, is the max characters your buyers can input in the form when they sign up. eg: password should be atleast 6 char max 44 or email should be a minimum of 5 chars and max of 120 or whatever. So that is what those options do.
The one after those is Images - All this is the width and height of images, such as product images, product thumbnails, Now on this page, this where i began to get a little aggravated at the one by one change system they have on Zen cart, cause as you edit this page (if you even decide to bother editing this page) you are feeling yourself fall into a deep trance at all the repetitive integers i was inputting. Not happy.
After images we have customer details - So this is rather self explanatory, all it is doing is asking you what customers details you want to select. So if a customer registers and buys an item or just simply buys an item, it will ask this customer, for date of birth, address, etc Now for me all that information is useless, since i sell digital goods, unless I am a ruthless person who sells peoples details. In my shop i am only selling digital goods, so there is no need for addresses, phone numbers etc. But If I were actually selling material goods, then yes the address, phone etc would be necessary, other wise the buyer will be waiting till kingdom come for their purchase.
After Customers you have Packaging and shipping.
Now personally this page sucked my very life force, it was like a dementor that just wouldnt let up. and even now when i go to this page, I still get the pathetic, stupid, irritating message at the very top page saying store code zip not defined. (and yes i have defined it over a million times and it is just out to get me.) But other than that it is rather easy to edit, basically you enter your country and post code of WHERE YOU WILL BE SHIPPING FROM . so if you are selling from Canada, but your shipping from some random warehouse in China, then China and the Zip code from china should be inputted. then you can enter the max weight you will ship. Again, if you are shipping everything yourself, then you need to find out the rates from your local post office and check what restrictions there are, especially for over seas buyers. Generally speaking anything more than 5 or 6 kilos or 10 to 12 pounds will be very difficult to post. You might need special courier services to send items like that. Now from what i understand the weight can be anything you want, in the end it is what you set it out to be, that counts, so it will calculate it by your standards.
Product Listings.
Well this one again, pretty self explanatory, all it is asking you is for the settings on how you want the products to be listed. Do you want an image, manufacturers name, title, etc. 1 is yes, and 0 is no. You really cant go too wrong here, but you wont be able to see the effects of this page, till you add a product.
Stock.
Stock again another easy one, do you have it, do you want it to check for stock, do you want it to minus from total etc etc. Again very easy aside from the one by one editing which is a nightmare, but handy for the future, when you need to quickly edit one variable.
Ok there is so much in this tab I will break it into two posts.
I am going to try and break down each tab option in every article so you can find the info you need quickly rather than reading a million articles just to find one line of info that you need.
I have to go in depth and i should probably lay out the article and info better, so its easier for you to learn from..

So, Yes Just made a new one and since its in beta, for a limited time I am giving it all to you as a freebie, till i finish everything and try fixing up some of the php coding. So far there are no Bugs in it.
Will write all about it in the next post, as soon as I upload a demo. The Plugin is called TORF - Sounds powerful huh??? ye, well not really, it just stands for True or False, it basically allows you to add a bunch of true or false questions and you can stick it to your sidebar or footer and let your visitors test their Knowledge.
Pretty simple relaxed plugin. Has some nice admin features, such as styling your widget, sizing, adding questions, deleting and even has an option to open in new window.
Well will explain in depth in next post.

Ok so i thought i'd do my first wordpress plugin which i found quite useful.
Then i thought I'd sell it on Envato being that they have nothing like it.
Well im having a whinge, cause they are so damn hard to crack, the coding is awesome, clean and well documented, it also has an install and uninstall feature which most of their wp plugins dont include..
I have created documentation, screen shots, banners etc which is all the stuff they ask for..
So it took me like ten times longer to do all the stupid documentation and help files they request you. I took the stupid test they tell you to do and read all their stupid terms.
I spent like 4 wasted days fixing everything to their standards.
By the time i submit my damn plugin, i am soooo tired so i put a simple explanation, with a link to demo and list of features and I get knocked back...
why?? not colour ful enough description.. are you fuckn serious..
i can not be fukd to submit it again.. so I will sell it on here.. Its $5 each and eventually I will release it for free. So you can either wait or get it now..

PHP why r u so cheeky???
This is what i hate about building an online application using php.
yes php is awesome, and its virtually only limited by your own mind..
but man when it stuffs up the entire effin page dies.
you then need to go line by line code by code to find the problem.
sure you can turn on error_reporting(E_ALL) but guess what if its an sql problem or something like that, it aint going to tell you dick.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo you pray to the php gods and hope for some ray of light to shine on your screen and show you where the problem is.. . lol ye right..
4 hours later, your pulling your hair out and rewriting most of the code and pulling chunks out and rearranging everything trying to figure out WTF???
still nothing......................
So my next step is to walk away, grab a coffee, take a potty break.. attempt to breathe .. then come back..
Eventually i figured out it wasnt a syntax problem the code was perfect.
it was the effin $_POST fields..
one of the fields had an apostrophe and i didnt addslashes so it was classing with the damn sql.
Ok soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo basically for those of you that have no idea what im talking about, i just spent 4 and a half hours trying to fix something in the code, that wasnt in the code in the first place and would have taken me 5 minutes to do ...
Not frign time efficient PHP!!!!!!!!!!
there just has to be an easier way of trouble shooting php than the standard rigmarole...
and I offer you many prayers php god, i love you much and please let my next coding session go smoothly...

Yep I sure can.. just want to proove the point, as all my friends officially think i am mad. but I can, I guess a dog is like a child. When your child is first born, it does not speak but you still know the basic commands and understand the basic wants and needs.
Its much the same with animals, particularly dogs. Not so much for cats, as my cat could not care less if i speak to him or not, all he wants is food and his kitty litter changed and if its not dont on time, he sits by my feet staring at me with that same stare your mother had given you when you did a lame ass job.
Dogs on the other hand, wear their heart on their sleeve......well if they had one... maybe more on their paw... What i mean is, you can tell when they are up to no good and they also know when they are in trouble and sometimes if you lucky, you get a dog a little like mine that has full on conversations with you.
Sometimes its actually a little disturbing knowing the only intelligent conversation i will get all day is from a dog..
so Woof!

Yes I am planning on doing a tutorial. I know there are a million and one tutorials online and why should i turn my blog into a tutorial thing. I don't really plan too..
But I figured this tutorial will be fun and I really love how the pic came out so I wanted to share.

That main header image is the one I designed. Before designing it I had looked and looked for good zombie tutorials and didn't come accross any that really emphasized what I wanted.
So I figured I would just design one myself. After I did the photo, I decided that maybe some other loser just like me was struggling for a zombie slash demon slash whatever tutorial and couldnt find one.
Anyway, I will post the tutorial soon, I just have to write it up.. but I thought It would be fun, instead of using the same original image I used, to instead turn one of you into a zombie.

Pananias most interesting moment in history
In the little old town of Panania, nothing much ever happens. So when something does happen, its big News!!.. And I mean big.
I think the Council has bagged some new tricks to get people to go to the library, by using the fountain in front of the library and filling it with soap...Oh, It wasn't the council??
Well it would have been cool if it was.
Anyway the funny thing was, the library, that the majority of people walk past every single day without looking twice nor even once at, seemed to attract alot of locals today.
Maybe this will make books cool again or something. Probably not.
It was funny seeing locals just like moi, run around, dish out the phone cameras and take candid shots with the soapy fountain.
Well done Pananians!!!!!. Who ever was the genius who put the soap in, you rock!!
I declare that This day will now go down in history as "Panania's one and only Soapy Library Fountain for the Illiterate day". Where we all sit around the soapy fountain and tell old tales to eachother while sipping on chai tea lattes from the Gloria Jeans accross the road. It is the one day of the year, where you are allowed to stand next to the soapy fountain and pose like an asian. *Bubble fish face peace pose* ( try sayn that three times fast.. i dare ya!!)

Woot! made my day.. The fun part was when the soap suds started blowing away and was slowly turning Panania to a soapy city.
I think the Council has bagged some new tricks to get people to go to the library, by using the fountain in front of the library and filling it with soap...Oh, It wasn't the council??
Well it would have been cool if it was.
Anyway the funny thing was, the library, that the majority of people walk past every single day without looking twice nor even once at, seemed to attract alot of locals today.
Maybe this will make books cool again or something. Probably not.
It was funny seeing locals just like moi, run around, dish out the phone cameras and take candid shots with the soapy fountain.
Well done Pananians!!!!!. Who ever was the genius who put the soap in, you rock!!
I declare that This day will now go down in history as "Panania's one and only Soapy Library Fountain for the Illiterate day". Where we all sit around the soapy fountain and tell old tales to eachother while sipping on chai tea lattes from the Gloria Jeans accross the road. It is the one day of the year, where you are allowed to stand next to the soapy fountain and pose like an asian. *Bubble fish face peace pose* ( try sayn that three times fast.. i dare ya!!)

Ok so I have had this idea for a long time now, and finally got it done.

So what does it do?
It Creates a Toggle function, for those extra bits of information in your posts. Great for Review sites, and you want to add all the legals but dont want to make you post soooo long.
Installation?
Easy, either upload the files to your plugins directory or use your wordpress admin, click plugins, click add new, select the zip file and upload.
Once uploaded you will need to activate it.
Customization?
You can set all your colors, fonts, sizes and features in the Toggle It page. Link will be found in your admin under the Tools category.
If you have any questions, you can check out the little help icon (Wordpress has a default help icon on the top right corner, Click it and it will expand the help section. )
Further Help?

ok so shoot me, it happens once a year and you better believe i die all year round till it comes back again..
its my one and only day of true freedom, the day i can be a total kid and dress up however i want..
So what da hell do i wear this year??????????????????? last year i went as Selene from underworld which was alot of fun. got heaps of photos taken etc ..
So any suggestions, need to come up with something original. I hate getting there and seeing a million and one people dressed like me .. and skinnier ..

Glasses .. bumm
Ok officially declared, I am a dork. I must wear glasses all the time. Its my own stoooopid fault. As per usual, I dont ever listen and I think if I pretend its not there, that it will go away.
Soooo, the story goes, I got reading glasses 2 years ago, to only use when on the computer. eyes were apparently not that bad, just straining a little when on the computer.
Soooooo I wore them for like 7 months.. which for me is like a record. I did well.. but not well enough.. Its been about a year and a half since I last wore them and i was having a few eye strain moments.
I got my reminder to get my eyes checked, so I figured I should do it.
Well my stupid dumb ass, just got pwnd and told that I have to wear glasses always now, and now the glasses are double the strength i originally had.
So its like $450 dollars for new glasses.. I wonder how much laser eye surgery is lol ..
I mean i know i am a techhead and totally into dorky random facts and dress like a half mutated nerd who has been sent to purgatory for half her life time.. but dude... serious.. do i have to wear glasses to emphasize the point.. We get it, I sux at dedication and doing what I'm told, but seriously.... GLASSES??? couldnt you like slap me on the wrist and tell me not to do it again?

Labels, Labels, Labels.. you goth clone you
Omg its so funny how being in an alternative society and/or person where all the "alternative" people (and i put that in quotes because i hate using the word or label alternative to describe myself) are into different genres, different looks, different inspirations etc & then some of those so called "alternatives" can then rant on and discriminate against someone who tries a different look or different style and say "you should stick to the dark eye shadow and eye liner".
Honestly are we here to join a clique? should we all just become BFF's and hang out at the mall together? should we all hold hands and sing kumbaya? how bout we get mini goth dogs and put them in our black hand bags and walk down the street with oversized darkglasses???
Ok your confused I know lol. I did this make up tutorial for Trashbaggery.com using my daughter as a model just to illustrate that when going to a different event or place you can muck around with different ideas for make up. You dont always have to do the same eye liner or same eye shadow, you are free to play with ideas. This is the source of being different.
Being alternative doesn't mean you have to be boring black eye liner all the time. Also the tutorial is for people who are not necessarily goth, punk or alternative but want to try the look out and do something different. (and more power to them.. the less clones we have the better if you ask me)
Firstly, let me say I am not Goth, punk or any other Label. I am a person who wears whatever I feel like wearing and look however I feel like looking on the day. If im happy im in pig tails, if im feeling pin up, im in my best rockabilly gear, if im feeling a little poetic im in my dark clothes and possibly some matching hairstyle. Ifim feeling mysterious then black all the way baby, if im working with trash glam, then they will have me decked out in the most colourful trashy outfits known to man.. (no serious you got to check trashgla.com out..awesome stuff) I love being able to express myself with how i look and im renowned for it lol.
So you can imagine my amazement when another so called goth site slammed my tutorial stating that i should stick to the dark eye shadow and eye liner..
OMG i had no idea we had clones in the alt world. I truly was under a cloud of illusion where i thought we were all individual, different and loving it.
I have so so so many amazing friends, that are amazing in their own unique ways. and they range from hard core goths, bikies, pin ups, punk and whatever else you can think off to the very norm and I love them all with all my heart. and Not one of my friends would ever slam someone for being different..
So I guess what I am trying to say or ask is, Are you being alternative just to be a part of a clique, a clone, a look a like, a mini marilyn manson?? or are you alternative to be just that... alternative aka different!! Maybe your just misunderstood and want to feel accepted? then seek therapy you douche!!!
ok i will quit ranting, love you all, promise to keep this blog updated.. sorry for my absence..
